Crinklechips This a belter of solid Doom. A truly great album.

Their sound is that old school ‘heavy as hell with a light wash of reverb’ sound with some haunting organ here and there in the background. The vocalist has powerful clean vocals and can scream like muddafaka!

There’s a song about The Witcher (Butcher of Blaviken) and it has a soul crushingly heavy sludge riff. The Wild Hunt is a haunting percussive instrumental.

Its a dynamic album that holds your attention. Double thumbs up!
Favorite track: The Butcher of Blaviken.

Max Dread I should have reviewed this album a long time ago, given how much I have been listening to it. Monte Luna checks a lot of boxes for me, one of the most important being making time disappear during a long song. But I think what sets this band and record apart for me is the quality of the songwriting and arranging. Always ready for more from Monte Luna.
